The path to progress: Uzbekistan – Russia

October 11 this year at the Ministry of Preschool Education, a meeting was held with a Russian delegation headed by the First Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation D. Glushko, who arrived in the Republic of Uzbekistan as part of the participation in the events of the 21st meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the two countries.

During the conversation, the results of the ongoing large-scale reforms in Uzbekistan, the current state and prospects for further strengthening of Uzbek-Russian relations were discussed.

The head of the Russian delegation emphasized that Russia seeks to build up mutually beneficial partnership with the Republic of Uzbekistan in various areas of bilateral cooperation, including interaction in the field of preschool education.

According to the guest, in recent years Uzbekistan has achieved significant results in the field of preschool education. The large-scale reforms carried out in the republic aimed at achieving the country's long-term development have created the basis for the emergence of new breakthrough and innovative solutions in the preschool education system.

Thus, according to the head of the delegation, the project of mobile preschool educational organizations “Aklvoy”, which is being implemented in the Republic of Uzbekistan, which, according to D. Glushko, could be studied for further implementation in the Russian Federation, deserves special attention.

At the same time, the First Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation emphasized that the opening of the branch of the Herzen Russian State Pedagogical University in Tashkent is an important step towards further expanding and strengthening the existing fruitful relations between the countries in the field of education.

Particular attention of the representatives of the Russian delegation was drawn to the further development of cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation in the field of restoring the names of teachers from Uzbekistan who heroically fought in the Great Patriotic War.

As a result of the negotiations, the parties reached an agreement to continue working together in developing the professional and pedagogical potential of the two countries, improving the work of specialized preschool educational organizations, introducing innovations, advanced pedagogical and information and communication technologies into the preschool education system, developing secondary specialized, vocational education, and in providing children with healthy and balanced nutrition.

As a result of the meeting, the Russian side presented the Minister of Preschool Education Agrippina Shin and the First Deputy Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education Uzokbai Begimkulov a commemorative commemorative sign of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation “80 years of the vocational education system.”
